Fish out of water

Crocheted fish from a French pattern. It helps to have that French background. This is an omage(sp?) to a former office fish, Riley. He was a good fish.

Cream, grey and taupe

I love it when I am given artistic license with direction. After being told what colours, I brought in some pattern books so my friend could browse. After a few comments about diamonds I knew the direction I was going to take. The next step was to find the right colour yarn, so much easier then I thought. As I looked at the desired colours I knew exactly what I was going to do.

And then voila! In two days, a seven and a half feet long, four feet wide blanket is created.
